India, known also as “La Princesa de la Salsa”, was born on March 09, 1969. India is a singer of salsa and house music. She began her career in Latin Freestyle, and was soon after discovered by Eddie Palmieri. Who later produced India’s first Spanish salsa album, which was acclaimed as one of the best salsa albums of 1992. She has been nominated for both Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards. La Princesa de la Salsa has worked with, the late Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz, and many other well-known artists such as Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, and Juan Gabriel to name a few. India inspires people through her voice, and love for music.

Ivy Queen born on March 04, 1972 is also known worldwide as a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. Born in Puerto Rico and partially raised in New York City, Ivy Queen started off performing in local restaurants and clubs. She gained much attention from her violent and explicitly sexual lyrics. Since this caused a lot of controversy, she decided to go solo, and was quickly picked up by Sony International Records in 1997. It wasn’t until 2003 when Ivy Queen’s third album was certified platinum by the United States RIAA. Since then she has been successful in releasing five more solo albums, totaling eight albums. The most recent released in 2012, Ivy Queen continues to empower women through her music and fight against gender violence worldwide.
